KIKOMA PARISH

This Parish was started by the Church Missionary Society in 1894.
Some Europeans such Lewin, Harold Brelsford and Mrs. Rev. Brelsford were the first in this Parish. This Parish was a very famous and it used to take a number of counties namely:- Buweekula, Bugangaizi and Buyaga. It used to have one school called Junior school this school taught a number of prominent people including Bishop Yokaana Mukasa, Bishop Dunstan Bukenya and many others.
This Parish used to have the largest piece of land within the Mityana diocese but because of war between Buganda and Bunyoro all was destroyed.
The church at Kikoma is the second Largest in the Diocese. And also the Primary school that was named in memory of the first European named Lewin and the school is called Lewin Primary School
