Bamusuuta is the 7th church in Uganda and it was curved off from Namirembe in 1895. The first lay Reader in this church was a European by names of Fisher who came from Namirembe and he used a donkey as his means of transport. The first Reverend to come to Bamusuuta reported in 1900 and he was sent from Namirembe and he was called Rev. Edward Bakaayana.

Rhoda Kalema from Bamusuuta is one of the heads of Bible Uganda Society and she is very supportive to Scripture Union.

The Parish is seated on 39 Acres of Land and the land was donated by Yoswa Kamulali ne Silas Kyanya mu 1895.
